Job Title: Asset & Wealth Management - PWM Client Engagement - Copy Editor / Copy Writer
Duties:
- Are you a writer with the desire to join an in-house marketing and communications team focused on wealth management? Our business delivers personalized financial planning and investment advice.
- The content team develops multi-channel marketing and communications to support client retention, client engagement, lead nurture and lead generation for internal advisors, clients and prospects.
- We are seeking an individual that understands the workflow of creative projects and is able to comfortably collaborate with subject matter experts, work closely with various team members and execute projects with a precise attention to detail—all in a timely and efficient manner.
- Projects range from print and digital collateral, presentations and client communications to video content, social posts, blog articles, whitepapers and digital campaigns.
- This individual has the ability to thrive and grow their career in a fast-paced environment where strong communication skills, coordination across multiple stakeholders and client service are essential to maintaining and enhancing our business.
What will you do?
- Collaborate with creative teams, business leaders and subject matter experts to execute written content that supports the firm's business strategies Revise existing materials, ensuring consistent branding and messaging, to maximize impact across marketing initiatives and business development Adhere to existing brand guidelines including tone, voice and research-tested messaging architecture to maintain consistency Copy edit and proofread print and digital content to ensure accuracy and clarity Translate and version complex financial and workplace topics into digestible pieces that appeal to the target market or audience Find and cite qualified references for articles, white papers and case studies Draft language for video scripts, on-screen narratives, ad copy, social posts, blog articles, client communications, graphic briefs, marketing materials and other content as needed Adeptly navigate systems for project management and collaboration according to team processes Manage rigorous editorial, subject matter and regulatory review process for content products
Skills:
- Knowledge and experience with financial concepts and the finance industry is desired Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, free of grammatical errors Proven copy-editing skills
- Proven proof-reading skills Ability to translate complex topics into easily-understood copy using multiple voices and styles
- Knowledge of and experience with the nuances of multi-channel (print, web, email, social, video, audio) content Experience in compliance-driven environment is a plus, but not required Excellent time management and self-motivation with the ability to handle multiple projects and switch gears based on project prioritization Personal commitment to accuracy, attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines
