About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President for Portfolio Operations and Support to enhance its internal portfolio support team within the private equity sector. The successful candidate will be a pivotal member of the portfolio operations team, focusing on driving value creation, operational enhancements, and effective resource management. This role demands a seasoned professional with a background in management consulting and/or operations, particularly in the areas of sales strategy, marketing, revenue enhancement, cost reduction, and organizational effectiveness. The Senior Vice President will be responsible for working closely with deal teams and management within the portfolio companies to develop and execute value creation plans, including identifying EBITDA improvement opportunities and strategic growth initiatives. Applicants for this role at The Company must have a minimum of 15 years' of experience in management consulting and/or operations, a technical undergraduate degree, and an MBA. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in areas such as sales strategy, pricing, product marketing, and direct procurement. Strong project and change management skills are essential, as is the ability to effectively communicate, influence, and build consensus. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven individual with experience in change management and the ability to facilitate strategic planning sessions. A background in operational or portfolio support, and a generalist experience across various industry sectors, is highly desirable. The position also involves a significant amount of travel to the portfolio companies, approximately 30%-50% of the time.
