Salary : $20.00/hour

About Mikan Printing:
Mikan Printing Corp. is a family owned and operated specialty printing company established in
1952. At Mikan Printing Corp., we deliver high-quality printing solutions through precision,
efficiency, and attention to detail. We are looking for a dedicated narrow textile printing Press
Operator to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prep of printing press such as mounting plates
• Mix and match inks as required, maintaining color accuracy and consistency
• Operate and maintain press equipment
• Attention to detail i.e. determine a good from a bad print
• Be able to follow instructions and ask questions unprompted
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and machine● Proficient at basic math skills
• Ability to use a ruler to measure in both metric and standard systems
• Helping others as needed
• Can adapt work hours to meet fluctuating customer demands

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Capacity to lift 40-50 lbs
• Push, pull, and move materials within the production area
• Stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed

Qualifications :

• Ability to read and understand written directions
• Ability to follow verbal instructions
• Proficient at basic math skills
• Strong communication skills
• Team-player
• Open to learning new tasks
• On-the-job training provided - previous experience operating a press an asset but not required
