Job Description
•We are is currently seeking a full-time Licensed Land Surveyor to join our Greencastle, Pennsylvania office to work on a variety of projects for clients within the public and private development sectors. This is an excellent career opportunity for a talented individual to join a team of outstanding professionals, and the opportunity to help our clients solve challenging problems. Typical projects involve all aspects of land surveying for residential, mixed-use, commercial, and industrial site development, as well as municipal projects.
•Qualifications
Pennsylvania licensure required (or actively pursuing to be licensed)
Maryland and West Virginia licensure preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Carlson software
Must have and maintain valid driver's license Experience necessary - 10 years
Responsibilities
Field tasks:
• Travel to and from job sites • Use of robotic and GPS equipment • Boundary Surveys • ALTA Surveys • Topographic Surveys • Subdivision Surveys • Construction stakeout for utilities, buildings, commercial sites, and residential subdivisions
Office tasks: • Boundary line resolution and boundary plat preparation • ALTA surveys • Topographic surveys • Preparation of subdivision plats and land development/site plans. • Project management • Cost estimate and proposal preparation • Meetings and interaction with clients and the public • Meetings and interaction with municipalities and governing agencies • Supervision and delegation of responsibilities to field crews and office staff • Create and maintain client relationships • Monthly billing
