About the team You’ll join a 60+ person UX organization consisting of kind and talented product designers, content designers and UX developers. You’ll provide dedicated content design support for our consumer quoting experience, where you’ll help customers feel more confident in navigating the sometimes-intimidating insurance shopping experience. We measure success by improvements to our sales KPI’s (largely measured through A/B testing), and to customer satisfaction metrics. You’ll also benefit from the support of our content community of practice, where you can exchange ideas and learn from other content design practitioners. In this role, you will: Work in an agile environment. You’ll partner closely with product owners, product designers and engineers, as well as other content strategists, marketers, analysts, and researchers. Identify content opportunities. You’ll use content strategy methods to find ways to improve the user experience through information architecture and the use of language. Write concise, effective content. Your writing will adhere to guidelines for tone and voice, follow established standards and use language best practices for the given channel/medium. Continuously seek and integrate user feedback. You’ll evaluate UX effectiveness and determine where and how to optimize content. Coordinate across multiple projects and workstreams. You’ll learn a complex product ecosystem and collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless experience for the user. This role might be for you if: You have a Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism or a related field, or equivalent work experience. You have a strong attention for detail and enjoy working collaboratively on large projects. You’ve written content for digital applications. You know how to employ content strategy methods and tools like content audits, competitive assessments, quantitative analysis, design thinking exercises, user research, persona development, etc. You’re analytical, and you love to synthesize complex information. You have a portfolio of written work that demonstrates creativity, problem solving, business impact, and results. Qualifications: As typically acquired through a Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism or related field or equivalent experience and 2+ years of experience in a related field. Experience leading content initiatives from ideation through implementation. Exposure to human-centered design practices and product development methodologies. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Comfortable interacting with all levels of the company. Ability to present projects and status reports. Strong relationship building, networking, and collaboration skills.
