Location: Reno, NV, 89511

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Join a dynamic surgical team in Reno, Nevada, for a 13-week contract as a Certified Surgical Technologist. This position is perfect for professionals with strong operating room experience across multiple specialties and a mitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and prepare a sterile surgical environment using aseptic techniques.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by managing instruments and supplies.
• Anticipate surgical team needs and provide support promptly.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are functional and ready for use.
• Accurately document surgical procedures and instrument counts.
• Participate in on-call rotations as assigned.

Required Experience and Expertise:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an operating room setting.
• Proficiency in surgical specialties, including ENT, General Surgery, GYN, Neuro/Crani/Spine, Ortho, Urology, Vascular, and Robotics.
• Strong understanding of sterile field maintenance and surgical instrumentation.

Education and Certifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (NBSTSA required).
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred).

Schedule and Call Requirements:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM). Scheduled days will be determined based on unit needs.
• On-call mitment: 10 call shifts per month, including weekends.
