Job Description:
The Bridge Church is seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Sound Engineer to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring high-quality audio production during our services and events. The ideal candidate will have experience in live sound engineering, a passion for music, and a commitment to creating an uplifting worship experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain sound equipment for services and events.
- Mix live audio during services and rehearsals, ensuring optimal sound quality.
- Collaborate with musicians and worship leaders to achieve the desired sound.
- Maintain and troubleshoot audio equipment as needed.
- Attend rehearsals on Wednesday evenings (3 hours) and Thursday evenings (3 hours) and be available all day on Sundays (8 hours).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a sound engineer or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with audio mixing consoles and sound equipment.
- Knowledge of sound engineering principles and techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is competitive and will range from $25 to $35 per hour, commensurate with experience and skills.
Schedule:
Wednesday Evenings 3 hours
Thursday Evenings 3 hours
Sunday Add Day 8 hours
