Senior Automation Tester in Java Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Automation Tester in Java who will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of our software products.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying software defects, enhancing software quality, and ensuring adherence to the best practices in Agile development environments. This position requires a high degree of collaboration with the development team and proficiency in various QA methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify software defects and diligently track them until resolved
• Work closely with the development team to enhance overall software quality
• Develop and upkeep comprehensive software test documentation
• Actively participate in Agile development sessions, including scrums and sprint meetings
• Utilize VIVIDUS for various testing requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software QA roles
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Expertise in BDD Frameworks
• Proficiency in using VIVIDUS for testing purposes
• Ability to function effectively both independently and within a team
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Background in Agile development methods
• Understanding of test documentation creation and maintenance

Nice to have

• Skills in Java and JavaScript
• Proficiency in Selenium
