**Your Role:**
As a Survey Project Manager, you will be integral to the success of our survey group, managing projects of varying sizes, details, and complexities. You will enjoy the flexibility of hybrid or remote work arrangements and collaborate with a highly supportive team of office and field staff. You will have the autonomy to manage projects from start to finish in an entrepreneurial-style environment. Our diverse project scopes in residential/commercial land development and renewable energy will provide you with opportunities to expand your skill set.
**Responsibilities:**
- Lead and collaborate with a team to draft, review, and finalize site plans and construction documents.
- Utilize the latest technology and industry software to review project survey data.
- Analyze existing site conditions and development factors, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.
- Plan, organize, and supervise survey crews, technicians, and office staff.
- Oversee large-scale ALTA surveys related to solar or wind power generation.
- Provide construction-related services and guide junior team members in completing tasks such as permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, and transmittals.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to complete assignments on time and within standards and budgets.
- Attend paid training, development events, industry conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Assist with new hire training, career planning, and continuous professional development.
- Motivate and reward staff with spot bonuses and Peer Recognition Rewards.
**Qualifications:**
- Professional Survey License (PLS, PSM)
- 8+ years of survey industry-related work experience
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop a growing team
- Prior experience with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, Plan interpretations, and Real Estate Documents
