What You Will Do The Marketing Manager will oversee and execute our marketing efforts across multiple channels. The primary focus will be building our online presence across organic social media, our creator community, our team of athlete investors, and our retail media partners. This will be a unique marketing manager role in that you will also play a major role in influencing the expression of our brand ethos, ensuring brand continuity, and getting our community hyped about the brand. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing, this role will be instrumental in driving the company's success from the initial launch through scale-up.
Responsibilities: - Develop an Organic Marketing Strategy: Create and implement a strategic marketing plan with performance objectives across Instagram and TikTok.
- Hands-On Execution: Initially responsible for marketing strategy and day-to-day management of marketing activities. Get your pencil out to sketch the plans, and then put your hard hat on to build the house!
- Consumer Advocacy: Represent the voice of the consumer, thinking of creative ways to engage and delight them.
- Partnership Management: manage the day-to-day selection, coordination, and scheduling of influencer, athlete, and content partnerships.
- Tech Stack Ownership: Lead strategy, selection, implementation, training, and management of marketing software platforms.
- Reporting & Analytics: Leverage marketing data to develop and standardize reporting capabilities for root cause analysis and KPIs that reflect marketing team goals (e.g., engagement rates, conversion rates).

Qualifications: - 5-8 years of demonstrated success in creating and implementing a social and community strategy both within DTC and retail, CPG preferred but open to a related field.
- Strong ability to jump in and create while understanding the end consumer.
- Truly understanding and communicating the "why" behind the marketing strategy when creating a social and community presence - never just checking a box.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and innovative sensibility.
- A true "Team Player" who can work cross-functionally to achieve results and understands the impact to decisions on Sales, Brand + Marketing, Product, and Finance.
- Expertise managing social media channels for a company with proficiency in all major social media platforms; strong experience with Instagram and Tik Tok required.
- Strong familiarity with social media management software (Hootsuite, Sprout Social or similar).
- Excellent writing, proofreading and oral communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for various target audiences.
- Proven understanding of current social media best practices and key metrics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data insights to inform decisions.
- Detail-oriented with excellent project and time management skills.
- Please note, if you are not local this role requires relocation to Nashville, TN. We can be very flexible on when in 2025. This is a hybrid position in Nashville.
