Job Description

The Hilton Atlanta Northeast is looking for one full time laundry attendant to join our team. This is an amazing opportunity to join a fun team with great benefits. In order to be considered, you must be available any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, as well as between the hours of 8:00am - 5:30pm. Hours scheduled differ week days and week ends, based on business needs. The starting pay is $14.00 an hour plus a free meal a day in our employee cafeteria, three weeks of paid time off, medical and health benefits, hotel travel discounts, 401K with matching and so much more. The ideal candidate will be friendly and hardwork, and able to work and communicate well with the team.

Overview:

The Laundry Attendant operates or tends to washers to wash articles, such as towels, linens, blankets, napkins, etc. for the hotel.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sorts linen (terry, sheets, pillowcases). Weigh linen and load in washers.
• Load dryers.
• Know the operating function of the machines.
• Be able to maintain productivity standards on a daily basis.
• Fold linen and sheets according to proper standards.
• Place folded linen on marked shelves.

Education and Experience:

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required. Previous laundry experience preferred.
• Certificates & Licenses: First aid certification is preferred.
