We are Looking for:
The Junior-Level Graphic Designer's primary focus will be to build static and animated branded assets for livestreams, marketing, and monetization efforts using templatized/approved assets. We're looking for someone with a passion for design and ability to bring a creative, on-trend approach to a multitude of branded projects. This is a fully on-site position on a temporary part-time/ad-hoc basis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and execute engaging, impactful and unique design solutions utilizing brand assets and identity guidelines.
- Design, develop and create static and animated 2D images from scratch.
- Create motion graphics, including: lower thirds, locators, composited elements, end tags.
- Utilize graphic layouts and animations for various digital video and social media platforms.
- Work both independently with cross-functional teams, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and videographers, from ideation to execution as needed.
- Articulate creative vision and design rationale to team members.
- Collaborate with project managers to update project status, review edits and/or feedback from the client.
- Ensure all deliverables are of the highest creative standards and adhere to best practices.
- Maintain organized project assets.
- Work under direction from Art Director and Creative Director
- Use Airtable, Figma and Adobe Suite for daily projects
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3-5 years related experience in graphic design and animation.
- Expertise in Adobe Suite, Figma, Airtable
- Ability to take direction and apply to execution
- Knowledge or interest in post production and live TV processes and workflows.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of motion/graphic and design best practices for online platforms, including delivery specifications and workflows.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter, strong self initiative.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation range for this position $23-$35/hr.
