Join Our Team at ACi Industrial as a Journeyperson Electrician!

(ACi Industrial is a division of Advanced Grain Handling Systems Inc.)

We are looking to fill this position at our Brinston ON location servicing Eastern Ontario.

Are you a skilled Electrician looking to take your career to the next level? ACi Industrial is a division of Advanced Grain Handling Systems Inc., and we are seeking dedicated and experienced Journeyperson Electricians (309A) to join our dynamic team, with a focus on Industrial Agricultural Projects. We also welcome registered apprentices (2nd year or higher) who are eager to grow and develop their skills in a supportive environment. This is a full-time position with immediate start availability . (This position is an on-site in-person only position, with no remote work option.)

Key Responsibilities:
• Electrical Installations: Execute commercial and industrial electrical installations with precision.
• Motor Controls: Install, troubleshoot, and maintain motor control systems.
• Conduit Installation: Expertly install conduit for a variety of applications.
• PLC Integration: Integrate and maintain PLC systems.
• Project Management: Plan projects, manage labor, handle procurement, maintain communications, and ensure successful wrap-up of each project.
• Client Relations: Work with clients to identify potential business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, consultants, general contractors, and end users.
• Risk Management: Mitigate project risks, address deficiencies, and estimate changes as needed.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, field staff, and customers to ensure projects remain on track, on budget, and meet expectations.
• Jobsite Presence: Be present on job sites when required, and review projects upon completion to discuss successes and challenges with the foreman and superintendent.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support project completion.

What We're Looking For:
• Certification: Possess a 309A licenced or be a registered apprentice (2nd year or higher).
• Experience: At least five (5) years of experience as an Industrial/Construction Journeyperson.
• Education: Electrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree, or Electrical Technologist diploma/certificate.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility: Willing to travel as required for various projects.
• Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Driver’s Licence: A valid driver’s licence is essential.

Job Type : Full-time
Schedule: Regular shifts with OT opportunities.
Experience : Journeyperson Electrician: five (5) years (required).
Licence/Certification : Drivers Licence (required), 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician (required)
Work Location : On-site, various locations, in person.
Ability to Commute/Relocate: to the Brinston, ON area. Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
