The Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Mississippi () invites applications for the position of online Instructor of Sociology. This is a regular permanent position beginning in January 2025. We are seeking a sociologist who can help us cover online instructional needs in Introductory Sociology (Soc 101), Juvenile Delinquency (Soc 333), and possibly other courses as well.
The teaching load for the position is 4 courses per semester and has a starting 9-month salary of $45,000.

M.A. degree in Sociology or higher is required at the time of application. Candidates should have at least 5 years demonstrated online teaching experience and a strong commitment to teaching.
