The General Manager is responsible for taking charge of the team, leading by example, ensuring the client and member experience is top-notch, that the team as a whole hits its daily, weekly, and monthly revenue goals, and seeks to carry out ownership goals as their own. Responsibilities: Accountability of Staff Ensure daily revenue targets are set, clearly communicated, and pursued to attainment Ensure all staff attend weekly sales coaching calls Ensure staff are positive, enthusiastic, focused, and on task Set the tone and attack speed for the rest of the team Keep it positive, enthusiastic, and motivated Revenue/Finances Monthly revenue targets will be set with ownership on a monthly basis Update owners daily on status Ensure team is performing and hitting daily targets that contribute towards monthly target Look for new revenue opportunities and meet with owners to discuss Understand monthly budget and work to ensure profitability Check the safe weekly, add up safe deposits, report to ownership, and make deposit Marketing Work with marketing lead to ensure a marketing plan is built out and adhered to Ensure that marketing lead is up to date on big projects and tasked with items to contribute toward target attainment Establish relationships with strategic partners in the community to grow membership base and gym presence Staffing Ensure we are fully staffed every day of the week Cover any empty shifts that aren't staffed with no excuses Train all staff effectively, hold staff accountable to targets and expectations Run payroll after the first and 15th to ensure employees get paid on time Ensure all employee paperwork is completely filled out and current at all times Ensure staff know how to properly utilize the POS system Cleaning Ultimately responsible for the cleanliness of the gym Hire and retain a cleaner on staff and ensure they understand expectations Ensure daily staff are doing their share by taking care of closing and opening tasks Conduct periodic quality checks to ensure gym is up to standard Facilities Keep a list of facility maintenance and updates that need to be completed Coordinate with owners on repairs and maintenance Keep inventory of equipment Responsible for preventative maintenance of equipment Coordinate with cleaner to order proper cleaning supplies Ensure clean and orderly maintenance of HVAC room and supply room Qualifications: Problem solver Takes ownership of any situation Goal and task-oriented Sales experience Willing to learn, adapt, and implement Understanding of POS systems Basic accounting skills Enthusiastic and personable Compensation: $19 hourly + DOE #J-18808-Ljbffr Southside Strength & Fitness
