We are currently seeking a part-time Fleet Manager who will perform operational tasks to monitor, maintain and improve the Transportation Department's approximately 60 vehicles and services while working collaboratively with Operations personnel to provide safe and reliable transportation of children attending The Guild of St. Agnes programs.

Essential Functions include:

  • Working with the Director of Capital Planning and Management to ensure that new vehicles are purchased on a regular basis.
  • Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed.
  • Developing and implementing best practice standards to maintain vehicles.
  • The ability to stand, turn and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ensuring repairs and maintenance on all vehicles is completed.
  • Providing reports on budgeting, schedules, and maintenance of fleet.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active MA Drivers license (CDL with Passenger Endorsement preferred.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a changing environment.
  • At least 5 years of maintenance or related experience required.
  • At least 3 years of fleet or equipment maintenance management experience with a proven track record of delivering strong operational results.
