Job Description
Position Summary: The Fleet Car Manager is responsible for safety review and the supervision of all agency fleet vehicles and the corresponding records.
Education: High School Diploma
Certification/Licensure: Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with an acceptable driving record.
Experience: Requires experience with transportation safety and video log review. Requires Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as Outlook email
Previous office experience and experience with high risk children or foster care children is preferred
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Oversee the fleet vehicles, including GPS systems and paperwork
• Relay driving score information to appropriate leadership
• Monitor fleet vehicle paperwork, repairs, and correspondence with office managers
• Facilitate fleet vehicle exchanges, deliveries and/or pickups
• Assist in the training of new and current employees as related to fleet vehicles and safety
• Provide physical checks on fleet cars
• Review video logs to ensure safety for clients and staff
• Assist with the organization of transportation services
• Review all information breakdowns, interruptions and errors while taking necessary steps towards resolution
• Maintain accurate records of all required forms and written reports
• Conduct evaluations of the department system approach and employees as needed
• Assist in the transfer of information and materials throughout the agency
• Provide on-call services when needed
