Job Description
National Aircraft Cleaning & Janitorial company located at McCarran International Airport is looking for Full Time Exterior Aircraft Cleaners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.
- Cleans the exterior of aircraft by operations such as cleaning the entire surface with cleaning compound(s), polishing the surface.
- Checks aircraft for worn or corroded areas and brings those areas to the attention of the lead supervisor.
- Removes exhaust stains grease grime and dirt with special cleaning compounds
- Washes the exterior belly and vertical stabilizer.
- Cleans equipment used and the work area and reports the need for repairs to the lead supervisor.
- Services the equipment used to keep it in good operating condition.
- Completes forms connected with his or her work assignments according to established procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- Must be qualified and trained to operate required ground equipment to reach aircraft.
- Must secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.
- Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
- Must be able to work overnights shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to work overtime on short notice in emergencies or when operationally necessary.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: - Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
COMMUNICATION SKILL LEVEL: - Ability to read a limited number of two and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
CERTIFICATIONS and/or LICENSES REQUIRED: - Applicable valid driver's license as required by airport authority in order to operate a vehicle or equipment.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and exposed to work in high, precarious places.
