Location: Reading, Pennsylvania

Job Type: Contract

Compensation Range: $35 - 40 per hour


We are seeking an Event Manager local to the Reading, PA area to join our team to manage and execute internal and external customer events. This role requires an individual who can bring both creativity and structure to event planning while adapting to evolving project needs. The ideal candidate has experience coordinating logistics, and the flexibility to work on-site and travel nationwide on a monthly basis.



Responsibilities :

• Plan, organize, and execute events from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with brand standards and objectives.
• Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio/visual needs, and travel arrangements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure seamless execution of events.
• Act as the primary point of contact for event-related queries and ensure clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and schedules, ensuring all aspects of the event are delivered on time and within budget.
• Maintain detailed project plans and oversee all project tasks, utilizing process management skills to streamline event-related workflows.
• Monitor and evaluate event performance, gathering feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure that all events comply with company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as an Events Coordinator/Manager (or similar role).
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (primarily Excel) and Project Management tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-service orientation.
• Willingness to travel and the ability to adapt to changing schedules as needed.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with internal corporate events and customer-facing events.
• Familiarity with event management software (CVent).
• Process improvement or lean project management experience.
