Job Description

A partner of Insight Global is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their fast-growing team. They will be responsible for performing crucial tasks related to the maintenance and functionality of highly technical electromechanical semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Work closely with other engineers, technicians, operators, and suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve process issues. The equipment that this candidate will be supporting is highly automated and the ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Shift: 2 Openings depending on needs 24/7 facility

7am-7pm and 7pm-7am must be willing to work nights as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Support: Assist process engineers in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve production efficiency and product quality.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to production processes, including measurements of flow rates, temperatures, pressures, and other key process variables.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues in the production process, working with the engineering team to resolve problems and implement corrective actions.
• Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to processes, equipment, or materials that could enhance efficiency, reduce costs, or improve product quality.
• Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance, calibration, and repair of production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of process parameters, equipment performance, and any changes made to the production process. Prepare reports on process performance and improvement initiatives.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that processes consistently produce products that meet quality standards and specifications.
• Training: Provide training to production staff on new or revised processes, procedures, and equipment operation.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all processes are in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in safety audits and risk assessments as needed.
• Prototype Testing: Assist in the testing and evaluation of new processes, equipment, and materials during the development of new products or process enhancements.

Desired Traits:

• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience in process engineering or manufacturing.
• 3+ years experience in an AUTOMATED manufacturing environment, with a focus on process engineering, process optimization, or equipment maintenance.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Certification in process technology or process engineering.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements specific to the industry (e.g., ISO standards, OSHA regulations).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and machinery. Familiarity with process control systems and software.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including CAD software, data analysis tools, and process simulation software.

Compensation: $70,000 to $75,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education
