Entertainment Show Dresser and Usher at Worlds of Fun summary:

As an Entertainment Show Dresser and Usher, you will assist performers by preparing and maintaining costumes, ensuring a seamless experience before and during the shows. Your role includes interacting with guests, helping them find their seats, and maintaining the cleanliness of performance areas. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work flexible hours in a lively park environment.

$15/ Hour Must be 18+ years old

The magic of the Entertainment Department at Worlds of Fun happens because of the work of the dedicated support staff. As an Entertainment Show Dresser and Usher, you’ll have a front row seat and provide invaluable assistance to the incredible performances of our great park.

• You’ll aid in dressing performers for our numerous shows.  
• Gathering costumes from the Wardrobe Dept and delivering them to theater venues across the park.  
• Working to maintain costume pieces including ironing, washing, hanging, and organizing costumes.  
• Pre-set costumes and props before show times.  
• Maintain a safe workplace throughout the department and in all workspaces.  
• Interact personally with other Ambassadors and Entertainment Performers.  
• Warmly greet our guests and help them to their seats as well as exit the theater after the production.  
• Cleaning and maintaining aisles, seating, and lobby.  

• Must be comfortable standing and walking throughout an entire shift.  
• Must be comfortable and able to push a laundry cart across the terrain of the park.  
• Ability to operate iron, steam iron, commercial laundry equipment, and light hand sewing.  
• Ability to work as a dresser in indoor and outdoor entertainment venues as needed.  
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.  
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
