Description
Summary: While applying an agency model approach, strategically collaborate with internal teams to create and then lead the implementation and coordination of assigned marketing initiatives for Foundation educational programs, products, and services. This position will specialize in creating email and digital marketing campaigns while playing a critical role in communicating the Foundation brand, mission, and services to key target audiences.

- Lead the tactical marketing execution of assigned programs and services by planning and managing promotional campaigns. This encompasses the entire marketing campaign lifecycle, including campaign development, project coordination, copywriting, email marketing, media planning, behavioral-based marketing management, website management, social media activities, and overseeing graphic design and the creative process.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute a fully integrated multi-channel marketing approach to set up email campaign workflows, segmentation, lead nurturing and drip campaigns to support the organization's overall goals and objectives.
- Serve as a lead and power user of the Eloqua marketing automation platform, acting as a liaison with the marketing team and technology partners to maintain and enhance system integrations. Supporting the marketing initiatives with creative and cleanly built email communications and workflows to target audiences effectively.
- Implement and manage multiple paid search and retargeting campaigns for lead development and new customer acquisition. In collaboration with the marketing team, optimize keywords, bid strategy, and implement best practices in design while improving conversion rates, return on investment and provide other performance tracking reports.
- Negotiate media buys, ad placements and oversee the digital marketing spending and budget allocation while working with cross functional teams to refine or identify new advertising outlets.
- Stay current with email and digital marketing tracking strategies, compliance, and best practices, including, but not limited to, CAN-SPAM, CCPA, GDPR, and CASL laws.
- Support product positioning and creative copy development. In collaboration with the communications team, help ensure the quality, accuracy and consistency of promotional messaging to freshen and strengthen the Foundation brand as a leader in professional development education.
- Track and analyze ROI and KPIs of marketing programs and campaigns and make recommendations for improvement while using both on-line and off-line data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations for marketing campaign improvements and workflow developments.
- Support the broader business development team in market research, data analysis, identifying growth opportunities, member engagement initiatives, tradeshow/event participation and fostering relationships with key industry stakeholders and influencers.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No formal supervisory responsibilities; however, incumbent may be required to train/mentor more junior staff members.
Requirements
Required Education/ Experience: - A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field with at least three (3) years of successful experience in marketing communications, advertising, copywriting and/or public relations. Agency experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in marketing writing with demonstrated proficiency to curate unique copy for various target audiences and marketing channels.
- Strong knowledge of the terminology concepts of direct marketing and an excellent command of current office software.
- Experience with and solid understanding of integrated database programs such as CRM, and Marketing Automation software such as Eloqua. Knowledge of other analytical tools is a plus.
- Successful hands-on experience with email marketing, direct mail and digital/interactive media such as SEO, paid search, and retargeting advertising.
- Knowledge of employee benefits is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills: - Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage marketing campaigns across several cross-functional teams.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
- Creative, self-motivated with excellent organization skills, and the ability to multi-task while working in a diverse business environment.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Word and Excel.
Travel Requirements: This position may intermittently require that the individual travel for work (domestically and internationally); but only up to 10% of the time.
Hybrid Work Environment: This position is expected to work from our corporate headquarters office in Brookfield, WI. This is an environment with typical office conditions, including lighting, noise, seating and equipment.
New hires are expected to be fully onsite during the training period. Then, once fully trained, the Foundation operates on a 60/40 Hybrid schedule; with 60% being onsite at our headquarters in Brookfield (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays); and up-to 40% being optionally remote (Mondays and Fridays) and as business needs allow.
