Infinigen Renewables is a leading utility-scale solar energy Independent Power Producer (IPP) based in Puerto Rico. Overview:

The Document Control Specialist is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining company documentation within organization’s internal document system. The role ensures compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies while supporting project teams in the efficient handling of critical documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document Management:
    • Create, organize, and maintain document repositories in NetDocuments .
    • Ensure accurate and consistent naming conventions, version control, and metadata tagging.
    • Manage document lifecycles, including updates, archiving, and disposal in compliance with company policies.
  • Quality Control:
    • Verify document accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
  • Collaboration and Support:
    • Work closely with project teams to manage document workflows and approvals.
    • Provide training and technical support to team members on using NetDocuments effectively.
    • Serve as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless document control processes.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
    • Generate reports on document status, access, and usage patterns for management review.
    • Identify and implement improvements to document control procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Experience in document control or records management, preferably in the energy or construction industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency with document management systems.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and file-sharing tools.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the renewable energy sector.
  • Experience with NetDocuments.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as SharePoint, Asana, or equivalent.
  • Fully Bilingual (English & Spanish)

Location:

  • This is an in-office role at our office in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
