Job Description

Job Overview
Responsible for cleanliness, point inspection, safety and end of day preparation of City Transit and Paratransit bus including our new electric buses. Working at the state-of-the-art CTtransit Waterbury Bus Maintenance Facility. Also known as Connecticut Transit or CT Transit. Critical in making sure all vehicles are fueled/charged, cleaned, detailed and ready to go back into service.

May require use of industrial cleaning products and equipment including but not limited to: power washers, fueling systems, air compressors, etc. Must be able to push, pull, lift up to 50lbs unassisted. Will be trained to move vehicles through facility for fueling, automatic bus wash and parking.

Wages
Utility 1 (Non-CDL) $23.60
Utility 2 (CDL with endorsements) $24.75

Full-time position minimum of 40 hours per week.
Expected schedule: Evenings, days off to be determined by seniority
