Who We're Looking For:

As a key member of the Supply Chain team, the Category Manager will be leading the procurement teams activities for the designated category including supply operation management, supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce supply chain complexity and developing a more cost-effective supply chain.

About the Role:
  • Develop supply chain and supplier strategies and capabilities that enable the business growth and profitability objectives.
  • Lead the supplier selection and qualification projects through RFI and RFQ processes. Lead the negotiation and establish OEM Supply Contract and/or Distribution Agreement with Suppliers.
  • Provide leadership and coordination for complex manufacturing/supply chain challenges, commercialization and innovation activities and strategic projects.
  • Collaborate with the Social Responsibility, Quality and Regulatory teams to develop and execute annual supplier audit plans and drive timely & effective corrective actions with suppliers.
  • Lead the global cross functional end to end pipeline process to identify and execute value delivery initiatives.
  • Sponsor engagements with strategic suppliers to identify and implement manufacturing and cost improvement programs through continuous improvement program.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years combined experience within supply chain operational functions (i.e., manufacturing, logistics, engineering, planning, or procurement/sourcing).
  • Minimum of 5 years of people management/supervision experience.
  • Lean 6-sigma working knowledge and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to motivate a team, influence members and leaders of other teams, and comfortable communicating upwards to a senior management level
  • Ability and experience driving collaboration across business and supply chain functions.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and facilitate different perspectives to drive solutions.
  • Willingness to travel to develop, promote, and maintain strategic sourcing relationships.
