Job Description
Our Legal Department in Latham is hiring a full-time Associate In-House Counsel to join their team! The hours are Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 5:00pm. Responsibilities: - review and draft proposed contracts, assist in the negotiation of contracts, and ensure that contracts meet business and legal objectives;
- provide legal advice with respect to corporate governance and administration;
- assist in preparing and reviewing corporate documents including bylaws, minutes, resolutions, policies, procedures, and forms;
- provide legal guidance and support for various practice activities and issues;
- support CCP TASS risk management activities by anticipating and guarding against legal risks to Community Care Physicians, PLLC;
- monitor pertinent legislative and regulatory developments;
- educate board, management, health care providers, and other staff when necessary;
- assist in overseeing outside counsel; and
- assist in handling complex legal matters, business transactions, or other projects as assigned.

Apply Now! Annual salary range: $125,000 - $187,500 CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.

Required Qualifications
All candidates must have the following, or substantially similar, qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Five (5) years Health law experience in private practice or as in-house counsel
- Admission to practice law in New York within 180 days of hire
