Associate Finance Director: Non-Profit Industry
Fully Onsite - Indianapolis, IN
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 base salary

Assistant Finance Director Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, management, and monitoring of annual budgets, working with department heads to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Participate in the creation of multi-year financial projections for program sustainability.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Collaborate with program and grant teams to support budget development and allocation of resources.
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards (GAAP) and government regulations, including 990 filings and audit preparations.
• Examine financial statements for not-for-profit organizations
• Provide financial analysis support to program directors and vice presidents in grantmaking divisions
• Confirm and track tax status of grantees and prospective grantees
• Act as project manager for special finance division initiatives

Requirements :

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, CPA or MBA Required
• Proficient in financial statement analysis
• Strong foundation in accounting and finance
• Excellent skills in analysis, critical thinking, and both written and verbal communication
