Altis Recruitment is grateful to partner with an organization within the Broader Public Sector to support the recruitment of an Administrative Assistant. This opportunity will support the with records management, photocopying, scanning and logging scanned certified copies. There are roughly 7,000 pages for processing and the successful candidate will be required to electronically file certified copies of all documents. The selected candidate will be able to work independantly with minimal direction, be available to work on-site in Burnaby Monday - Friday from 8am - 4:30pm and will be available to start work as of January 2nd and work until the end of March, 2025. There may be opportunity for extension beyond March based on performance within the role as well as business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Format various documents with keen attention to detail
  • Maintain and update office records and files
  • Provide general administrative support to the team
  • Handle correspondence and communications
  • Process more than 7,000 pages and eletronically file certified copies

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • High attention to detail, responsible for document formatting
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Proven experience in a busy office setting
  • Independent worker and adept at juggling multiple tasks
